Just checking in...

I told you I'd write to you every day... no exceptions... here I am. I'm a man of my word.

Long Sunday... Good Sunday. Got a lot done, and spent some quality time in a big open field with my dog. No big email tonight, no podcast... just want to share what's happening.

​A guy named Marek showed up in my comments yesterday to effectively spit on Charlie Kirk's grave and imply that all of you, my readers, are horrible racists. I refused to argue with him any further after naming his moves in detail for the audience. I built a wall on my website instead.

Readers have been showing up to drop notes for him and donate to my work. $200 has come in. $1 is all it takes to get you on the wall, if you have something to say to Marek.

I'm going to show him tomorrow. How do you think he'll react?

I can't tell you how much it means that readers are sending me money and using the new tech I'm building... It's not just the dollars. It's that the audience is showing up to use what I made. That's the loop I've been chasing for years.

I'm a software engineer by trade and a writer by necessity... there aren't a lot of people doing what I'm doing with that combination. Scott Adams called it a skill stack. He was right... having one makes you uniquely valuable. I'm starting to realize what my skill stack is... I'm building this whole thing myself. Every line of code, every word. That's on purpose. I own everything. Nobody else gets a say over how this gets built, or what I get to write.

I'm working hard to build something special on StopBeingPrey.com. The membership is going to be powerful... I'm excited about it. I'm excited to share it with you.

If you've been impressed by my work so far, I'm only stepping it up from here... and a big reason I'm going to get better is you. You're going to sharpen my knives. You're going to correct me when I'm wrong... you're going to learn the lessons I learn and deploy them yourself.
