Leah Schrager is an artist working somewhere between NYC and the internet. She addresses themes of art vs commerce, the male gaze, the female gaze, social theory, female and artist autonomy and web identity. In this series,
Infinity Selfie, Leah plays with current ideas regarding censorship and the validity of the selfie as an art form. It’s also been called SFSM (safe for social media, it’s a nude selfie with no nudity.
In her work she photographs, appears in, augments, and markets her own image. A former dancer and model, Leah is interested in the line, movement, biography, and digital virality of the female body. In 2010 she founded a new form of therapy as Sarah White, The Naked Therapist. Her other project
