Dear Patriots,
Today, I want to send you a personal message.
I hope you had some rest this summer. A few weeks by
the sea, a quieter inbox, evenings that didn’t start with another
headline. It’s good—and even healthy—to take a break sometimes. Even
warriors need rest.
But I can’t help but think that this summer was not
all sunshine. Not for everyone.
While many of us were on holiday, Europe kept paying
the price of open borders and a political class that treats mass
illegal migration as an inconvenience instead of an emergency.
As you all know, tens of thousands crossed from
Morocco at the end of July, and that didn’t come without
consequences. Since then, Ceuta has seen an explosive wave of sexual
assaults. Multiple underage girls were among the victims. One of the
most recent cases involved three men caught trying to sexually
assault a 10-year-old girl.
Off the Italian coast of Sardinia, a 17-year-old girl
was on a paddleboard near the beach when a motorboat carrying 14
Algerian men ran her down. She suffered multiple broken bones, lost
consciousness, and nearly drowned. Her friend said the men on the
boat saw what they had done, stopped, looked, and then fled toward
the shore. It was thanks to Italian beachgoers that she was pulled to
safety.
In London, a jury this August convicted an Eritrean
man, Bruke Desalagne, of raping an elderly man behind a hoarding
outside St John’s Church in Harrow.
The attack lasted around twenty minutes. He had
entered Britain illegally, claimed asylum, and been granted
indefinite leave to remain. The victim was a vulnerable pensioner.
The setting was a church. That is the country we are becoming if we
keep pretending this is rare, random, or unsayable.
And those were not the only cases this summer. The
list goes on and on.
You already know why this keeps happening. Borders
that are not borders.
Asylum systems that reward illegal entry. Welfare and
legal loopholes that act as a magnet. Politicians who lecture us
about “values” while white girls, tourists, and even our grandparents
pay the price.
We launched the Save Europe Act because Europe cannot
survive another decade of this. We are calling for a moratorium on
new non-Western immigration channels, real external border
protection, rapid returns, and a serious remigration framework for
people who are here illegally, who have been rejected, or whose
continued stay is a serious burden on our countries.
