[COPY] The Most Censored Story Of The 20th Century: How Reds Helped Put Hitler In Power
We are taught that big business put Hitler in power. Hidden from us is that The German Communist Party put him in power.
To commemorate December 7th and World War 2, I have been posting information deliberately hidden from all of us. Until now.
WHEN THE LEFT GETS FASCISM WRONG :
HOW HITLER CAME TO POWER WITH THE HELP OF THE LEFT!
Leftists are constantly using the term fascist incorrectly. They worked for Hitler, raised money for his campaign because they thought the liberals were the true fascists. In the Eisenhower era they declared Ike would take over the government in a coup, so the Communist Party went underground. In the late 1960's they believed fascism was finally coming and in the 1980's were convinced Reagan was going to declare himself the supreme leader. But the most horrific misjudgment was with Hitler.
The incredible mistake communists made that led to Hitler's victory.
QUOTE:
Effective opposition to the rise of the Nazis would therefore depend on the strategy pursued by the Communist Party. Tragically it was at this time that the party adopted what was called the "Third Period" line. At the very time when the crisis of capitalism was destroying the lives of millions and Hitler's Nazis were making huge electoral gains (rising from 2.6 percent of the vote in 1928 to 37.4 percent in 1932) the KPD concentrated its attention on attacking another part of the left. It made preposterous accusations against the socialists, accusing them of being "social fascists" and "1,000 times worse than an open fascist dictatorship".
This was a disastrous distraction from the real issues of the time - the economic crisis and the threat of fascism - and opened up a division in the forces of the left from which it would not recover. The notion that either the leaders, or the mass of workers who made up the base of the Socialist Party were "1,000 times worse" than Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels or Göring, was preposterous. That approach is so thoroughly discredited that no sensible person would draw a direct comparison between the Labour Party and the BNP or conclude that the former was more of a fascist threat. However, the nature of the mistake itself is worth discussing.
First, it represented a loss of overall perspective by the Communists. Under Russian pressure they ignored the situation in Germany and applied a distorted set of priorities.
Secondly, the KPD wrongly identified its enemy. Its members were told to focus their efforts on "untiring daily exposure of the shameless, treacherous role of the SPD..."
The Communists certainly had many legitimate criticisms of the reformist Socialist Party leadership. During the revolution that began in 1918 the SPD sided with capitalism and encouraged its violent suppression by the Freikorps right-wing militias. The long term consequences of this were tragic. The fledgling Soviet democracy established by workers in Russia was isolated in a backward country dominated by peasants. Deprived of international support Russia's Bolsheviks eventually succumbed to Stalinist counter-revolution.
The SPD leadership had connived in the murder of the first leaders of German Communism, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, in 1919. During the rise of Hitler the SPD used language not dissimilar to that thrown against it by the KPD: "A bosses' alliance has arisen - Nazis and Communists. Whoever votes for the Communists... serves the interests of the employers and helps reaction." In other words, the SPD was a thoroughly reformist party with all the limitations and problems that that entailed for the achievement of socialism.
But a balanced judgement of the situation required something more than a critique of fellow left wingers. What was needed was sober analysis. UNQUOTE

For those of you wondering how all this ties in with Joe McCarthy, patience. Because it does.
How The Left Helped Hitler Come To Power
(Photo: Ernst Thalmann, leader of the German Communist Party. After the Soviets took over East Germany they created a cult around Thalmann as a man who led the reds to try and stop Hitler. A pity about the facts.....)
Fascism did not originate in Germany. Hidden from history is that it began as an offshoot of socialism in Italy under Mussolini. The reason Mussolini is never mentioned in the context of fascism is simple. The roots of his group were socialist,
and Mussolini was a lifelong socialist. Socialists were always splitting off from each other over which group was the more correct, but by bringing up Hitler the National Socialist movement is self-contained and not as easy to trace to socialism. The role of Stalin in both bringing Hitler to power and the fact Hitler's party was socialist was much easier to hide. Partly because the speeches and publications of the party were unavailable for decades.
We now know the platform of National Socialist Party: it included several measures that would redistribute income and war profits, profit-sharing in large industries, nationalization of trusts, increases in old-age pensions and free education. These platforms are never written or spoken of by those who still support Stalin.
They also continue to insist the Rosenberg's were innocent, there were no spies in the U.S. from the Soviet Union who had infiltrated our sciences and government and anyone who says there were is a paranoid. But they have a complete meltdown with what I am about to write: how Stalin helped Hitler come to power.
Ernst Thalmann was the head of the German Communist Party and like everyone else in the Communist Parties of the world a slavish follower of Stalin. As with all communists of this period he was dogmatic, stupid and willing to ignore obvious mistakes Stalin had made. No one questioned Stalin when he ordered all reds to fight "social fascism" which was not the Nazis.
QUOTE: In the words of Theodore Draper, the American former communist fellow traveller who turned against the party and became a historian, “the so-called theory of social fascism and the practice based on it constituted one of the chief factors contributing to the victory of German fascism in January 1933”.The theory, developed in the early 1920s, favoured by Stalin and established as Communist orthodoxy by 1928, held that reformist social democracy was the worst enemy of the proletariat – worse than fascism – because it created false consciousness and made revolution, the party’s overriding goal, less likely. This notion derived from the left’s misunderstanding of the dark forces about to overwhelm it. UNQUOTE The New Statesman
Rather than face how Marxism had failed: workers were getting 40 hour work weeks, social security, profit sharing and more reforms communists blamed the reformers. They were the ones who by giving to workers what Marx had stated was impossible for them to reform, had undermined the world revolution. If workers were buying cars and homes, then the roadblock to revolution was not the rising fascist movement within socialism, but the liberal reformers. If all the socialist forces would unite to fight the liberal menace, eventually Stalinism would prevail.
This would turn out to be a tragic mistake for the Communists.
In the crucial 1930 elections in Germany Thalmann, following Stalin's orders which no party member could question, backed Hitler and the National Socialist Party. His party raised funds for the nazis, gave speeches for them and worked for the candidates of the party. Thalmann told party leaders in private that Stalin felt Hitler's reforms would fail and then the KDP ( German Communist Party) would easily take over the government and make it part of the Soviet Union. This would not be the only time nazis and reds worked together. During the Hitler- Stalin Peace Pact, which was erased from our history for decades until the internet brought it forward, the German Communist Party was allowed to publish its paper and it helped identify Jews. During this period all communist parties around the world hailed Hitler and "his new form of socialism".
Helping get Hitler elected and his party to become the number 2 party in Germany, having supported Hitler during the Peace Pact, the National Socialists knew who all the German communists were and began rounding them all up. I am quite sure at this point, the German Stalinists realized they had made a tragic mistake.
It is interesting to note that socialists today now claim reforms from social security to the 8 hour work day happened because of their struggles, when in fact, they fought all social programs as bourgeois reform! LOL!
