Lunatic with a Fruit Cake

Leyman Lahcine, born and raised in Grenoble, France, has, by way of New York, been living in London for almost two years and is steadily making a name for himself on the art scene. Since his debut showing at Pelicans and Parrots in Dalston last year, Lunatic with A Fruit Cake is his first with representation from Tania Wade, aka Hooligan Art Dealer, who has on her roster, amongst others, Noel Fielding, Harry Hill, Timothy Spall and Sigur Rós. Last night, at the (very) intimate Gallery Maison Bertaux, one of Soho’s oldest and finest establishments, we went to check out Lahcine’s unique and surreal work.
