Extraordinary: Everyday Objects & Actions in Contemporary Art

Extraordinary: Everyday Objects & Actions in Contemporary Art

Gathering together artists who use banal objects or deceptively simple actions to turn the everyday into art, this exhibition provides an alternative perspective on how we relate to our lived environment. By using familiar items, as well as the human body, as a means of expression, works by artists such as Bruce Nauman, Karina Smigla-Bobinski, Erwin Wurm and Willi Dorner will offer viewers accessible ways to engage with contemporary artistic practice. The exhibition also includes many interactive installations, suitable for all ages.
