Wild Gals Of The Naked West
An old geezer recalls some of the antics of the men and women of his western town, more wild and woolly than Tombstone or Dodge City. In this town, no one is a good shot, the women are hungry for new meat, and practical jokers abound. A stranger strolls into town, proving resistant to the mayhem and, after donning some cowboy duds, begins cleaning up that town.
According to Roger Ebert, the film was "an ambitious attempt at comedy and satire. It is one of Meyer's personal favorites, but did badly at the box-office because, he now believes, he paid too much attention to the humor and not enough to the sex, and was over-cautious in assigning pasties to his actresses."

Motorpsycho or Motor Psycho is a 1965 film by Russ Meyer. Produced just before Meyer's better-known Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965), the film explores similar themes of sex and violence but focuses on a male motorcycle gang rather than the female gang of go-go dancers featured in the later film. Motorpsycho also contains one of the first portrayals of a disturbed Vietnam veteran character in film. This film was a huge hit, while FASTER died at the box office.
Russ Meyer, whose previous films had faced stiff resistance from censors, sought to create a more action-oriented film. The working title of the film was Rio Vengeance.
Haji was a nightclub dancer when she auditioned for the film. Meyer cast her in a smaller role but soon promoted her to one of the lead roles. She later recalled:
Russ worked with a five-man crew, and he took us all into the desert with snakes, lizards, and all kinds of danger. He thought if you were a guy, you could live in a tent out in the desert, but the ladies he treated better. We lived in a trailer. When you shoot in the desert, you come back with dirt in your eyelashes and hair. Our shower was a big barrel with a cork in it, set up on four sticks. You pulled the cork out, got wet, stuck the cork back in, soaped up, pulled the cork back out, rinsed off, and that was it!
Two actors were injured while filming a scene involving motorbikes and were hospitalized.
According to Meyer, the film went "through the roof" commercially, inspiring him to create a similar film with female bikers, Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.
The Los Angeles Times wrote that Motorpsycho and Faster Pussycat "pack as much sex and violence as possible on the screen without bringing in the police. In fact, they're so ludicrously erotic and sadistic they can be taken as parodies of the entire genre of exploitation pictures."

The Chicago Psychotronic Film Society is quite a party. From its earliest days with guests JOHN CLEESE, ROBERT DeNIRO, BILL MURRAY (our first dues paid member), DAN AYKROYD, SYDNEY POLLACK, RUSS MEYER, CLIVE BARKER, JOHN DUGAN, PENN AND TELLER, KENNETH ANGER, DARIO ARGENTO and many more there was nothing like it on earth. People travelled from all over the world to attend our parties or host them and none of the celebrities were paid to be at the events.
We did shows at bars and clubs LIMELIGHT, KABOOM, THE LYRIC OPERA (!), THE BIOGRAPH THEATER, THE LIAR'S CLUB and many more places. This meant you had to be 21 to attend and there were no dealer tables.
We were the only fandom that had an equal number of women in the group!
Del Close, my comedy partner for almost a decade (though it has been written out of books on him, including our work with THE CHURCH OF THE SUBGENIUS) came up with the idea, Supervixen Pamela Boom Boom Smith was the head of the Women's Auxiliary which was how we got women to attend the shows when fandom was almost all males.
