FROM WOKE MEN: Woke men claim she is just part of corporate America and a cheerleader for the studios and big business. I don’t think it’s possible to be more full of shit than to actually believe this nonsense. Taylor represents one of the first major stars to embrace, without even knowing it, the Creator’s Revolution. Which is fine. The Creator’s Revolution will spread because it is a natural response to the stagnation we see today not just in the entertainment biz, but in pop culture in general. Hell, the stagnation is even evident in the ages of our Presidential contenders. (1) No riots, beating the police or language control needed. It will just happen and Gen Z will lead the way. We are living at the very beginning of a new stage of capitalism, The Creator's Age. Like the computer age and information age they were not predicted by leftists and socialists. The Creator's Age is within less than a few years of changing everything about the means of production. This is a very exciting time to be alive and aware. Here in 8 minutes, your introduction to the revolution that requires no bullets, no picket lines, no battles with the rich and powerful or politicians. The numbers rolled in from Taylor Swift’s appearance at last Sunday’s Chiefs/Bears game, and the NFL has to love what it sees. Per David Rumsey at Front Office Sports, Roku TV data revealed that Chiefs/Bears saw a 63% increase in female viewers ages 18-49 (Swift’s main fan demographic) from the Chiefs’ week prior game against Jacksonville. You can do WOKE. You can take the knee. You can ban cheerleaders. But one thing you can’t deny. Taylor Swift has women watching football like never before. Not only that, but men who were not football fans are watching! Nobody is talking about that!
From Conservatives: It is hard to believe how out of touch with reality conservatives are when it comes to Taylor Swift. I mean if you think Woke is dumb, they are taking stupidity to a new level. They claim she is a psyop concoction, a Pentagon asset who will use the Superbowl to get her fans to support President in the shadows Jill Biden and her puppet, Joe. Ok they aren’t stating the reality that Jill Biden is the actual President, that she has ignored the Clintons and the Obamas calls for Joe and then by doing so, herself, step down from power. Has any conservative actually looked at Jill’s day to day affairs as she meets with dignitaries from around the world? Taylor Swift will give faint endorsement of Biden as she did last time. But we have to look at how she got thousands of people to register to vote in California. And why. She did not do it for Biden. California Gov. Gavin Newsom she helped get elected. And if the Biden’s give up power, he with her help could stop Trump in his tracks. Or any Republican. But right now as I write this, Jill is not giving up power. Unless Joe dies, we are stuck with 2 candidates who are too old to be running this country. The DNC showed who they support when they supported Feinstein to the end. The pro-DNC press reported she died with a value of over 90 million, but Forbes which checked her finances in 2023 reported she was worth over 220 million dollars. That is a lot of lobby money and money from foreign governments, isn’t it? Which is why Democrats have blocked at least 2 generations from taking the reins of power. The old guard is not giving up one penny of lobby money. I ask conservatives the same thing I do left wing conspiracy theorists - tell me how a spy ring works. You won’t find that online. If you can’t tell me, as Howard Stern’s late father would say, “Shut up and sit down”. Kanye West was the first man to embarrass and attack Taylor Swift in public. Taylor was 19 years old. Many men now consider Kanye to be a hero. Disgusting. FOOTBALL FANS For football fans the days of hiring a stripper and hanging out with the boys are over. The days of the wives bringing drinks and food and then leaving are over. Nothing makes them angrier than their daughters wanting to watch the game with them, then their wives wanting to watch the game. What an outrage. I have dated many sex workers and strippers. I support sex workers. I think sex work should be legal and pimping made illegal. Just like in other countries with legal prostitution. But to be angry with your daughter or wife because she wants to watch the game? That to me is disgusting. To be furious with Taylor because now women want to learn about football? That is not a real man to me. How can you tell your daughter to leave you alone? How can you crush the wings of a butterfly? Would it really hurt you to describe the game to them? When Taylor embraced burlesque, she got a huge new audience exposed to it. You will never guess in a million years who first saw Taylor go from country to pop and understood the transition. In 1993 the movie CLUELESS came out and first showed the West Coast trend of pants below the waist. That style hasn't changed. Stagnation. In the early 2000's record labels stopped developing talent, they ended their development wing (known as A&R), signing bonuses were reduced to less than what you could get an entertainment lawyer for. I go to a superhero movie and not only is that form replacing quality with quantity but what do I hear on the soundtrack? Guns 'N Roses. The labels have stopped developing talent to mine their past. Stagnation. The bands headlining festivals are 30 to 50 years old. Or more. Who has been developed to take their place? There is only 1 band of the last 5 years that can fill stadiums and they copy Led Zeppelin. Stagnation. Our news media, tied to major corporations has cut back on salaries and reporting. Stagnation. Now I watch as streaming services which had used the pilot system to create shows like MRS. MAISEL are going back to the way network TV works. Ads. Commercials. Goodbye creativity. We shall remember the past of streaming the way us old timers do the early days of TV - live one of a kind dramas. Route 66, Rod Serling before Twilight Zone. Before cookie cutter sitcoms took over. Yet I see hope. I believe in the Creator's Revolution. K Pop music develops talent. the way we used to and it is sweeping the world. BLACKPINK just re-signed their contract and each member of the group got 8 million dollars as a signing bonus. Not only that, but they get 6 months a year to do any project they want. One has already started her own record label! To compete with YG Entertainment the label she is signed to. Babymonster was in development for 2 years and their first video has hit 1 billion views. That is not a typo. 1 BILLION. Substack has more and more journalists joining it and making money. Without being tied to a news organization. Bandcamp lets music artists keep 90% of what they make. Heck, Amazon has asked me to create a podcast. That job didn't even exist to make money five years ago. We are seeing a capitalist revolution happening. We are moving from information should be free to information should be paid for. Our tech allows us to do what the corporations can't do- become our own suppliers. Find problems and stagnation, that's where this Creator's Revolt will come in. And I believe Gen Z will do it. They are already complaining about the 5 day work week. About going to an office to work. I will be 70 in February. But I see this train coming. When Taylor Swift, during a strike and shut down of Hollywood, released her concert film by cutting out the studios and going direct to AMC theaters she opened the door. When GODZILLA MINUS ONE came out with a $15 million dollar budget and had better effects than these $200 million dollar Superhero movies I am excited.
